The role of receiving dryer
1. Store refrigerant.
The receiver dryer can temporarily store part of the refrigerant to separate gas and liquid; it can also be used as a storage tank to receive the liquid refrigerant from the condenser and store it until the evaporator needs to be discharged. (According to different working conditions, various requirements are also changed)
2. Filter moisture and impurities.
A desiccant is placed in the dryer, which can absorb the moisture generated in the air-conditioning system, which is very important for the air-conditioning system. In addition, there is a filter in the structure to remove impurities.
3. Prevent gaseous refrigerant from entering the evaporator.
The refrigerant entering the receiver dryer from the outlet of the condenser is not 100% liquid, especially when the atmospheric temperature is high and the condenser is difficult to dissipate heat, the proportion of gaseous refrigerant entering the receiver dryer will be high. The location and design structure of the receiver dryer can prevent gaseous refrigerant from entering the evaporator. (The gaseous refrigerant entering the evaporator has no morphological change, so it cannot absorb heat, which seriously affects the cooling effect)
4. Provide buffer space.
The liquid storage dryer provides a buffer space for the liquid refrigerant in the system, and can adjust and supplement the flow of the liquid refrigerant supplied to the thermostatic expansion valve in time to ensure the continuity and stability of the refrigerant flow in the system.
